Aw, I love when I get asks about mah wife.
No, it wasn’t awkward when we met.  I was waiting at the international arrivals gate, guessing which people were English so I knew when she would arrive.  I was nervous, but even more excited.  Then she walked out, I remember the moment exactly.  I realised it was her as soon as I saw her (probably helped that she was cutely hiding behind her jacket and looking at me).  She was nervous so she walked away a bit, and I rushed over to her and I just remember being so happy and in a state of shock and awe because she is actually the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.  I remember she was shaking, avoiding eye contact, and I think as I hugged her super tight we were both crying. 
In the car ride on the way back to the house we were spending the night at (my friend’s lesbian aunt who awesomely left the house to us for several hours) I held onto her tight, smiling like an idiot.  When we got to the house, my friend’s aunt left us and we went to the living-room.  Tara was super nervous, but smiling, and it was really really cute.
The weird thing is I don’t remember exactly how the first kiss went?  Well, I don’t remember which kiss was the first, because there was a lot in succession.  I remember she made me cover my eyes at first, and we kissed.  We ended up kissing on the couch for hours, until my friend’s aunt came home.  Then we went to the kitchen and had hummus on bread together (she had never had it before, and I was just looking at her and smiling).
Later that night we slept in the same bed, and cuddled a lot, and whenever I would wake up I’d see her there and it was just the best feeling ever, and I would kiss her awake haha.
God, I miss her.  It’s weird talking about it now because it’s all like some dream.  I can’t believe it really happened.  After a year of being apart and imagining what it might be like, I never expected it to be so perfect, for her to be so perfect.
